After the second intervention, I followed up with the stakeholders about their sleep. Based on their feedback, I unexpectedly found a common problem: they could release stress during the intervention but were unable to transfer the same emotions to real-life sleep. How to build a bridge that could be offered to the stakeholders to transfer was a key.
My mentor Jasminka offered me a suggestion: music. It was very inspiring to me that music, as a key element throughout the intervention I designed, could make an emotional connection for the stakeholders from an auditory perspective. At the same time, I will also consider including floral scents and pillows in my intervention, which will give the stakeholders a more sensory connection.
In addition, from the feedback of the first intervention, I found that the drawing session was helpful in getting participants to imagine how to go to sleep but did not allow them to actually go to sleep. Therefore, I will remove the drawing session from my next intervention.
